B6t Tranny suggestions

Post by cjthor »

Hiya fellas,<BR> I am looking at possibly changing trannys when I swap my b6t in. What cars can I pull a better tranny out of and will I have to change axles. I am going for around the 250 horsepower range. Any help is appreciated.

i'm don't know the year protege, but the lx tranny is a direct bolt from what everyone has said. i think the axles can handle 250, but i'd get a second opinion.
Looking for a 94+GS for KL-ZE fun :)

Sorry, this drive shaft thing is not making a lot of sense to me. Last year I had to change out my axles so I have some idea what you are talking about, but if you could explain it again and a little differently I would appreciate it.
