Anyone else seen this?

Post by ProjekMX3 »

I was wandering through ebay today and I found this auction. I believe this picture is a mx3 but i've never seen those taillights before and it looks like they did the civic light conversion. Anyway I don't know whether i'm disgusted or confused here. I'll let the pics speak for themselves.

Nice way to copy Kevin Gettens with that headlight conversion...

The tail lights are Altezza's from a Camaro.

[edit: corrected spelling error in Kevins name!]

Just because it's the same mod doesn't mean it's a copy.

Not if the other person hadn't seen it done before. Have you ever seen that car before? Is it someone who's ever seen this board? These are all things that you do not know. It's not like it's a difficult project to figure out. It's not like pictures of Kevin's car are plastered all over the place anyways. I think it's fugly anyways but to each there own.

I wouldnt not consider it a copy if it was not patented :p they look nice, i dont like the tails simply because they look ricey. The headlights look way to big. ugh... but everyone can do whatever they want to their cars because well...um its their cars.

Why would they keep doing the same crap...civics headlights?...give me a break. The Mx3 is a unique car and every part plays a very important role to its unique. Trying to make your Mx3 more unique: Stay in the family (MAZDA), Custom made your own parts, use what aftermaker parts we have, introduce group buy with your ideas...and the list is big. But dont take away from the Mx3 its separation from the rest by just swaping in a part from other car maker.

My point of view!!
