Diamondplate Floormats

Post by streetconcepts »

Who would be interested in diamondplate floormats for there MX3?

Here is a sample of our Dodge Neon set.

These are great for show cars as they really add some style to the interior while on display. These can be used for daily driving but they will scratch up the more that you use them. I have a set in my civic daily driver that I used a wire wheel on after they were about 4 months old and they look pretty cool. In my Cougar show car I only use that set of mats for shows.

Here are a few more examples.

Product Info:
Mats are constructed out of 1/16" mirror polished diamond plated aluminum. The mats are cut to match OEM floormat templates. The mats are shipped fed ex ground and are shipped flat.

The front mats will need to be bent to fit the vehicle. To do this place your stock mat in the vehicle and place a piece of masking tape across the mat to mark where the bend should be.

Lay the aluminum floormat over the edge of a countertop or work bench face down and line up the bend line to match the oem floormat.

Press down on the front edge of the aluminum mat to get the desired bend. You may need to do this a couple times to get the correct bend for a perfect fitment. Average time of install is 5-10 minutes.

Our normal pricing for this product is $120 for front mats shipped or $135 for 4 piece mats shipped.

Our introductory price for MX3 mats will be $120 for a 4 piece set shipped within the continental US. International orders would have to pay for shipping but will get a $10 discount on the mats.

I have one set cut and ready to take some pics in the MX3 I have at my shop. I'm hoping to do this tomorrow.

Thoughts or questions?

I think it's a good idea BUT Think HOW COOL it would look like if you imprinted/stamped MX-3 on the floormats in a reasonable size Though

The problem with doing that is once we have the mats made we need to take them to be water jet cut with the logos and it would raise the price considerably. I'm trying to keep prices as low as I can on all the MX3 products we carry and add to our lineup.

I don't doubt that other companies or ebay sellers already offered them I just wondered if there was interest for us to offer this as a regular item and keep them in stock.

The problem on a trunk mat would be shipping costs would be high.

If there is interest in these mats I'll do a run of 10 sets and prepack them so we can ship them immediately when ordered.
