we did these 2 extra bumpers as an alternative to the drift front we did on the 4 piece kit.

You can order a 4 piece kit and chose any of the 3 front bumpers.

If sales are successful on these products likely more kits will follow as will fenders and hoods.

I will have 3 EVO 5 bumpers available seperately and 4 drift front bumpers available.

The rest will be sold in complete kits for the first batch of 25 to keep manufacturing costs down. The more we order the cheaper the price thus the reason we can offer this four piece kit at $500 plus shipping for a quality kit with a gelcoat finish.

After 25 kits are moved you will be able to buy any part individually.

This bumper is almost IDENTICAL to the Vital Grounds bumper that was made back in the summer of 2003! Contact steve@vitalgrounds.com for more information.

I don't really know much about anyone copying kits or anything, but you guys really did an excellent job of making this kit practical for daily driving, and still giving it that aggressive lower front fascia.

i was debatin weather to get the ms style bumper but after seeing how good the blitz bumper looks unpainted (usually you have to visualize), im definitely goin with the blitz.

thanx for givin us mxer's a choice with kits. i hate how everytime you open an import magazine or go to a web site, all you see is stuff for civics and integras. ive blown the doors off both plenty of times...

Guys, i urge you all to purchase this bumper from steve@vitalgrounds.com. Why? Well to start he operates from Ontario, Canada (so shipping will be cheap) and he was the FIRST one to make it. This clown just made a replica.

This clown just made a replica.
A post like that shows a ton of class. Maybe if you look at this post I built the 3 projects that MX-3.com members requested.

Original Development Post

I didn't have to build anything for the MX3 and only chose to do so because I was contracted to build a display car for Stoner Car Care Products and had the vehicle available for an extended period of time. I happened to like the MX3 so I posted here to see if anyone was interested in seeing new kits developed.

I did not build a replica of Vital Grounds Kit I built this by hand using our Blitz kit from a Civic.

Also vitalgrounds.com does not exist

whois -h magic vitalgrounds.com
Crsnic.net hasn't heard of vitalgrounds.com

If you want to push another company's product do so in your own thread and do not hijack mine.

I put my own time and effort into developing the products that were requested by the community.

Craig,

I think the last two kits were done too fast and have some fit & quality issues around where the kit meets the front wheel-well. The Evo 5 kit does not match the lines of the wheel arch at all, and it looks pretty shoddy from the pics that were posted.

The Blitz Kit is kinda boxy in the front and looks like its angled up a bit.

The best kit you have produced to date for the MX-3 was the Drift kit- which you spent the most time on. The difference is pretty evident.

Those are my opinions, based on the pictures I have seen.

I appreciate that you have shown some support for our MX-3 Community. You will sell a lot of all of these kits and they will be made of top-notch materials. All of Aerogears products are made of high quality materials.

I think he last 2 still need some work however.

hey craig i sent you a mail about the evo fronts that your selling seperately. The mail is from b8dmx3@hotmail. could you please check it out man cos i really want one of these fronts!

Secondly I think quicksilvers comments are out of order! This guy has spent the last 2/3 months developing these kits for the mx3's so we can have a cheap, fresh new kit for our car. wtf i mean why flame someone who has put so much effort into this project. I think that most of the people on this board would agree that those comments sucked man!

seriously!!! u got no right to advertise another company in this guy's post! :D how can anybody disapprove? imo, the drift kit made the car look like a cavalier.. LOL thats why i wasnt really into dat. the evo was too HUGE for my taste, and way too wide for our cars. but now, what i've been waitin for since the begining.. THE BLITZ FRONT!!!! i'm soooo happy you guys did it right! it doesnt stick out on the sides, it doesnt stick out *too* far in the front.. i think i'll definitely buy it hahaha :2thumbsup: good work!! i will be in contact when the kits hit Hayward! All 3 bumpers were taken from a civic and the wheel well arch is the same. The EVO may look different b/c there are no sideskirts on the vehicle.

The Blitz is flat across the top front b/c that is the style Wayson sent on the donor bumper. All there blitz kits are done this way. The Blitz bumper took less time b/c I was able to use the stock upper bumper instead oof having to make one. The sides of the Blitz are lower than the front because of the donor. Most bumpers are like this. On my cougar I cannot get my foot under the rear corner of the bumper or sideskirt but have 4.5" up front.

All 3 bumpers fit the fender, headlight, and hood tightly without any gaps.

The pics I posted only show the bumpers on the car with a few screws not the actual mounting hardware b/c I pull them on and off the car so many times daily.

I'm not a fan personally of a blitz style bumper but I actually loved the way that it turned out on the MX3.

On the MX3 I'm building it will have a drift rear, sides, and EVO 5 front bumper. Will also have custom projector headlights, carbon hood, fender flares, and maybe custom fender vents.

Also these are not AEROGEAR brand parts these are produced by Aerogear's parent company Wayson USA. The kits are hand laid fiberglass with a white gelcoat finish. They are not a high end line like the Aerogear but they are perfect finish and easy to paint. Aerogear kits use a flexible epoxy resin and baby blue gelcoat. Had these kits been Aerogear line they'd be $1100 per kit.

Any other questions feel free to ask
