KL-ZE in Europe

Post by odds1 »

Hello folks.

I tried to search for this but came up with nothing much.
I wonder if anyone know anywhere to get a KL-ZE in the UK or any other place in Europe. I live in Norway. I think this forum is great by the way. Has helped me out much. Thanks you people.

You could try this site. They say they supply to the trade, so if they don't want to deal direct with you, they may put you in touch with a company they supply.

My car's OBD2, so KLZE is out for me :(
Re-shaped and re-sized gearshift lever. Best driveability mod you can do!
Extra thick soundproofing in the boot (trunk) to quieten my stainless steel exhaust system :)

obd2 = on board diagnostics 2

its a computer upgrade for a car in basic terms. I beleive every car from 94 on was obd2.

OBD2 replaced OBD1 in some 95 Mazda models, and all 96 on, except Japanese Domestic Market (JDM) (and maybe some parts of Asia?) where they still use OBD1.

The ECUs are different for OBD1 and 2, and cannot be interchanged. As JDM only uses OBD1, and KLZE engines are only fitted to JDM, there are no OBD2 ECUs for KLZEs. So if your car is OBD2, you would have to convert the harness to OBD1 (big job) to fit a KLZE ECU.
