what messanging program do u use

I have all of em....yahoo, icq, aol, msn

but i mainly use aol

I use the one and original ICQ, been using it since about '96-'97, i have msn only cause its the one all the cool kids are using now

just to let everyone know go download trillian (go to google and type free trillian) and you can use yahoo aol msn icq and irc all at the same time. thats what i use then you can delete all the other programs and save space on your comp. its very nice and easy.

my experience with trillian is it blows, they are seperate for a reason, i use Yahoo, MSN, AIM

Trillian is good stuff and if you have a job where the IT dept. blocks AIM, ICQ, MSN & yahoo, you can often set up trillian w/settings thru a free proxy server (addresses available on the Net, ck. w/a google search) and it will get thru the network firewall... and all other IM buddy lists are available to ya.

Hey papa roached, not sure what probs you've had with trillian, other than they hafta keep updating the free software to stay ahead of the others which try to devise blocks so you might temporarily find trillian blocked out of AIM for example. The designers put it togehter because all the other services refuse to consider interoperability between their programs.

i have had file tranfer issues and stuff like that, decided it was easier to just have them seperate and its no big deal to keep it that way on my main system but i can see what you say about using it at work
