? for you bmw enthusiasts

Post by marshmallow15 »

i need a few questions answered about my 04' 325i. i got the sport package (wheels, recaro seats, springs) if that matters, but didn't come with the sport rear bumper with those reflectors on the bottom?

anyways, i wanted to know if i can swap the 330 rear bumper or the sport bumper with the rear reflectors on w/o any trouble. also, will the 330 LED taillights fit on the 325? i heard something about wire adapters needed? anyone know the cost for these?

also i saw a few e46 m3 bumpers on ebay for e46 4-dr. and wanted to know if they'll fit the 04 model. they mentioned 99-02 but not the 04 model.

how about the springs and strut bars from an m3. are they a direct fit onto the 325i?

right now all im doing to the 325 is going to be m3 front with ac schnitzer cf lip, sport rear bumper or a rear bumper lip, cf rear spoiler, hamman side skirts, maybe drop it more (not sure the sport springs already look dropped), some bbs wheels/rims, cf door pillars (the exterior part), maybe cfiber front and rear emblems, and some light tint.

I this a joke? I don't think you will find too many true BMW "enthusiasts" on an mx-3 website.

No, that's Mitmaks. But there won't be too many BMW enthusiasts on a message board for 2-3 thousand dollar cars like mx-3's.

hey, I just saw this topic.

got any answers yet?

I would like to know as well.

the problem is this, most body and suspension wont swap over from the 2 door coupe to the 4 door sedan.

I havent tried to swap anything over from a coupe to a sedan so I dont know for sure.

a good place to try would be the e46 boards, those guys know a ton of stuff.

nope none yet. that was my main concern too about swapping from a coupe to sedan. ive found so much stuff available for the coupe that i wanted. apparently the hamman skirts for the e46 coupe fit the sedan as well, but im still questioning that.

I just did a quick measure yesturday.

the lights wont fit for sure. the coupe/cabrio rear lights are shorter and less long than the sedans, and the rear bumber covers are different as well.

I personaly like the "M" "style" package you can get with the coupe's the one with the black lower center section and one opening on the drivers side for the exhaust.

1 thing you might try is this.

this year "2004" there is a 330i M sport package sedan. it has its own M suspension, M steering wheel, M exhaust system, it has 10 H.P. more than a regular 330i sedan.

This car may have a different rear bumper than the regular 330i sport models.

Ill look around.
