I just bought a 92 gs and the guy said the motor had been changed out recently. Im not sure if it is still the 1.8 or a bigger one. The only thing it says on top is Mazda 24 valve DOHC. Is there anywhere else I could check to see what size it is?

yes u have 1.8 V6 unless he changed it to klze which i doubt

yes it should, i adapted civic intake just relocated coolant overflow reservoir and it fit right in, of course u have to run it after VAF or it wont run right.

you need to look on the heads. If it says K8 101 then it's a 1.8L. I don't know what the KL heads say, but I'm sure it says KL XXX. Just look between the intake runners and you'll see them on the rear head.
