Please support the removal of Section 172.2 of bill 241
Please support the removal of Section 172.2 of bill 241
The following is quoted from a member of the RX-7 forum. I signed it and commented, this is our hobby, please dont penalize us for it. I put the attachment to the petition below.<p>"Please read everything fully if you wish to support the removal of Section 172.2 of bill 241. This effects us all and is unfair. It leaves way too much up to the officer themselves giving them the opportunity to abuse there power. This bill will basically take away your right as a Canadian citizen, taxpayer and voter, of any legal right to safely modify your car for use at the track, autocross etc... Section 172.2 allows law enforcement to simply define, at their own discretion what is legal or illegal on your car, whatever it may be. (the bill is not clearly defined and allows law enforcement to site what they "believe" to be illegal). <p>Any support will help. Please sign the online petition. If you don't agree with the removal of Section 172.2 simply do not sign. (include your address to show you are a resident of Ontario) if you agree with the contents contained in the petition." <p>

Does anyone have the link to what this new law exactly says? It looks kinda vague.

That s*** scares me, I saw another special on t.v. last night of americas future highway, all electric cars driving like drones at 59 mph, and it steers for itself, lifeless, boring, SCARY!!! Again, I Hate electric cars.
