K&N filter

Does anyone know how much of a hp gain i can expect in a 92 RS from a K&N air filter? Should I try to build an intake or is it not necessary?

i got a gs and i put a k&n on it, mr.butt dyno definitely told me there was a gain there, and not AS MUCH of a hp drop after driving for a long time. it whistles loud when the rpms get up and and sounds like a little blow-off valve when you let off the gas, makes the engine sound really throaty too, you should put one on.
