Intake Resonator

Not sure if I got that spelling right. I read a post somewhere about taking out your INtake resonator. So I tried it and the car ran like s---. Sound to rich and would hardly idle.. Is there a way to make it run with out this resonator?

I know this can be done cause I have seen several pics of it done.. Anyone have any idea?

isnt the resonator the acordian like tube? if so yu can get rid of it but must keep your VAF hooked up<BR>Dan

I stand corrected after search a bit harder... The VAF is what I was talking about however I need to keep that in... I will be attempting to remove everything else though soon
