Do I need a new clutch?
I was wondering I been having a problems lately with my car. I am still a newbie with cars so I might now know fully what I am talking about so don't laugh. When I start up from the light or a stop sign I push down the clutch and then hit the acclerate and then the rpm goes up like normal, but at times it will jump up and then I have to let go of the acclerator and then it will go down and drive like normal. I have to do this at times. I mean I am just mainly a person that drives fast but just because wanting to check it alot. Does anyone know the problem. If it is the clutch is this a good one.
Dual Friction Clutch Disc And Pressure Plate (90% increase in holding capacity) - DOHC 1.6L Engine

Is it because I'm not a native english speaker that I don't understand this message or am I normal? Plus you are from Oklahoma (US) so you shouldn't have problem with your english.

it made total sense.
Your clutch is slipping. I guess someone would have to have went through that before to understand his attempt at explaining it.
So, with a slipping clutch you could either just tough it out and dont hammer the gas and dont drop the clutch...
or you could get a new clutch, like an ACT clutch. http://www.advancedclutch.com/

hope this helps

a good way to see if your clutch is bad is to rev hard through first then into second and at the top end of second shift hard into 5th with your foot hte floor if hte rpms riss but the car doesn;t go anywhere then your clutch is finished!

Alright, I don't think it is finshed yet but it is almost there. I mean everytime off of first I have to go slow then speed up.
