Laguna Blue

Post by Mastirmynd »

I've only seen a handful of the laguna blue MX-3's. And thats only been online, i've never seen one here in town, or anywhere else on the road. Were they a limited production color? Once someone told me that japan only sent 1500 to the US. That sounds questionable. But anyway, if anyone knows anything about this, share you wisdom. :D

I have no wisdom to share, but mine is laguna blue, and I live in Maryland. If you're ever up here, you might see me.

Or they could have just painted it that way.

Kelli- i checked out the pics of your car, and i have to know, how in the heck did you get your side AC vents out? Is there a hidden bolt somewhere? I tried to figure it out for a good hour or so before i gave up. Howd you do it?

the vents are very easy to remove (i did this mod on the weekend)...
inset a straight screwdriver along the side of the vent at the third fin up from the bottom about 2-3 inches in and carefully pry outward until you can get your fingers under it and gently twist back and for until they pop out!
for the middle vent there are two screws at the bottom.

Mine is also a laguna blue MX. I love the colour - it stands out without looking ugly. From what I have read on this site, laguna blue was only offered in 1993.

Don't try to do that with the center one though, i chipped it doing that. There are screws to take out. Have fun!
