93 Gs Special Edition

Post by mazda_stud »

Found one of these in black it has 182,000km the front spoiler is cracked at the driver side and at the front of the car(spoiler needs to be replaced). The person tried to cover it up with a Bra. The hood has 3 dints in it (covered nicely by the bra) The Driver side seat Leather is cracked and worn and needs refinishing. Also the windsheld need to be replaced because there is a crack, the whole length of the window from wipper to wipper. The dash has about 50 holles in it around on the side of the Radio because there used to be a car phone there. But everything else seems to be ok, but I have not had it in the shop yet. Askin is asking $10,000 the way I see it there is at least $1500 worth of work to do in the car. So do you think $8,500 is what this car is worth? should I buy it? What should I offer? What do i dooo? Thanks!

i bought mine - in much better shape - and paid way less than that. mine is a '92, not the anniversary edition but there's no way a year newer is worth 3 grand!

My opinion... keep looking... you'll find cheaper and better condition.

I'd only offer about C$7000. explain why (everything you mentioned above). if it is a black SE (very rare) I'd maybe want it for that reason but from what you said there is a lot of work to be done. Take it in to mazda and get their 120+ point inspection and then see what's wrong and decide then if it is worth it.

"mx-3 mazda" Did you take of the bra and see the damage? It is amazing how well it, hid that hug crack. The guy was like "perfect body except for some ding on the door but other than that it's perfect" yah right! Did you drive it? . I called her up and she said that lowest she would go is $9,500 she said my offer of $8,500 was to low and the lowest offer she has seen so far, I thought i was being kind with my offer. I think that car will be for sale for along time. As for the 92 it is an auto it is not what I'm looking for. I drove the 94 Gs at the Mazda dealer ship and liked it but thought for the price of 10,500 it was lacking features. It seems like the mx-3 are goin for alot more in Saskatchewan than anywhere else. I guess I'll just have to drive my Isuzu till I find my 94 gs!

thanks guys I will be patient and look for the perfect car, why should I have to settle? My dad says not to fall in love with a car, he thinks I have just because all I want at the time is an mx-3. But can you blame there are lots of them out there and I will find the perfect one.

can't get on canada trader.com at the current time. site must be down or something. Which ones are they? did you see the black 94 gs on the cover this month?awesome car, like mint shape. to bad it is 3 hours away or I would go look at it. I have finals next week so that really sucks. it really limits my car searching time.
