Very Important Question About Swap

Hi Guys.. I saw the new Mazda miata 2003.. And One of the motor is a v6 with 286 Horse power with 256 of Torgue.. Helll yaaaa!!<P>I would like to know if it's a direct in swap?? cuz the new v6 is small like the one in the mx3..<P>Sorry for my english <P>Chow

it's a complicated deal. with it being as new as it is, there might not be a whole lot of info on the characteristics of this motor. with it being a rwd, you have find out what tranny to use along with other fitment issues. do some research on this motor. check where the motor mounts are. see how hard it would be to turn it to fit a fwd configuration. call corksport. derrick might know or know somebody you could talk to.<p>[ May 24, 2002: Message edited by: cre8v mx3 ]
