Engine Swap

Post by MXTREE »

Can anyone help me, I have a 93' MX3RS (1.6 SOHC) and my engine just blew. Valve burnt out. If I were to throw in the 1.6 DOHC or 1.8 DOHC would it be a simple swap or would it be a lot of work. Or should I just get my engine fixed? Also, if I do swap engine, does anyone know of any reputable places for purchase/install in Toronto area?<BR>Please help.

I am finishing up the B6T swap, it is harder than it sounds. I have been 3 months without my car. I would suggest going with the B6T if you want to give it a try and have about $2500 CND. Or if you just want to replace your motor, I have my SOHC for sale. Either way, I can help you out on any info you need.
