Re: Lowering or Rims?
it really depends on what style rims you want doesnt it, i mean if you want to replace with 15's then lower it first, but if your upsizing i would suggest getting the rims first. if you lower it with 15's then decide to add 17's there will be more to adjust because if the different ride characteristics.

Re: Lowering or Rims?
Well I got my rims first and now I just recently bought some lowering springs. If you are on a budget then lower your car first because it will be cheaper then buying a brand new set of rims and tires.

Re: Lowering or Rims?
get rims and big ones at that(17's), cars lowered that dont have rims look rediculas, personally i laugh everytime i see one. thats kinda like one famous mx-3'r(i forget who it was)once said. "its like wiping your a-- with a turd", it just doesnt make sense.
too much s--- to list!
Re: Lowering or Rims?
Well, Im in the same sort of prediciment. I want both, but I cant see my buget handling it. I want to get 17" Focal F5's, and then some nice lowering springs as well. I notice on Ebay, I can get the rims with tires for like $600-700. Then once in a while a set of lowering springs come on bid... they usually go for a little over $100. With these kind of prices things get a little bit more affordable...
