looking for prices on K8's, does not need to be running

just need prices, getting ready to build an engine, and I want prices for the 1.8, and 2.5 engines, preferrably not running, to make it cheaper, since I am rebuilding anyways. Thanks guys and gals.

Depends if your going to have to replace the pistons or not. Re-ring kits for the K8 $350, KL $299, only difference is the rings and the head gaskets which are pretty cheap in my opinion. They have a new KL set with your choice of Ross pistons for $929 which is pretty good.

I believe my engine is a k8. It has a blown head gasket. $200.

Your best bet is MACKALSKI65 Ive seen his engine and its clean enough for your project and since your looking to keep the price down Im sure youd be looking for a pick up and well hes as close as you will find

I have a 1.8l that you can have if you come get it. Only things that are missing from it are the cams and the valve covers. Its got 164k on it. Sorry I won't ship it.
