About to re-introduce the MX-3 on the market
How about this! If we all together as a community write to the mazda corp. and make a sugestion, better off, a petition! that out there is an ample market, and there are many MX-3 loving people wishing the return of exact body model, but, with improvement.

as nice as that might sound. If you got every member on this list to sign a petition, nothing would happen. The corporate world just doesnt work like that

i totally agree, we should get All of us to write them, they should at least have that in mind, in fact they're looking for "customer input" and new models

I'd sign a petition. Mazda needs some sport cars besides the miata. Their commercials are all zoom-zoom, but the current models aren't.

The Protege is getting 180hp soon, and the new 6 looks Euro, and will be pretty quick. <P>Oh, and then we have the RX-8. What mazda car is slow and or not sporty?

Re: About to re-introduce the MX-3 on the market
i agree with protege (damn i didnt know the pro was getting 180), mazda's lineup is pretty damn sporty compared to others. Nothing is cooler than driving a miata
. However, with the rx-8 at circa $40k and the next strongest engine being in the MPV, they seem more interested in sporty style than sporty performance. I believe they had a real good thing in the nineties with the mx-3,mx-6, rx-7 and so forth.. but according to them thats when they made no money. At this point, the power numbers have not at all increased, but they've used there sporty image to make good profits. It would be pretty hard to convince them to sell something that brought in no money once already.
