The disks from Weede's topic say 286/283mm.
With the first gen Mazda 6 brackets, and 2nd gen (283mm) disks, the disk will hit the caliper.

So the disks also have to be machined down a bit.
Perhaps it's brand depending, but my EBC's hit the caliper.

Weede used brembo rotors which are 282.5mm.Maybe this is the key..
Except from that did you used custom spacers?

I believe he did mention a spacer, but didn't give much detail on it. He did say he would be selling an extra set of spacers...

I still think that a cheep kit like this would be preferred for me anyways. Have not looked at miata calipers yet to see if they have the same mounting points but I know we do run the same rotors. this kit may be adaptable.

Yes, you can use a spacer to adapt the inner core diamater from Mazda 6's big hole, to the mx3, smaller hole.

If you'd CNC drill the disks, you could also be fine without them.

Miata fronts have different mounting points. The rear kit can be used for BG/EC cars though like I did instead of sourcing Miata sport suspension caliper/brackets:

1995 Ford Escort- No its not an MX3, but it has lots of MX3 parts on it.

I love the idea of "All Mazda" upgrades, straight forward as the Subaru fronts are... There's something about going outside Mazda that seems impure  Still, It's tempting...

Did the test fitting today with the 1 piece rotor, making minor changes in the brackets. Looks like this will be the final version:

12.4" 1 piece slotted/drilled rotors
Wilwood 4 piston calipers

We can make 2 versions, calipers with piston dust boots or calipers without dust boots.

Retail pricing is $1025 for dust booted caliper kits and $925 for non dust booted caliper kits.

Kits will contain all necessary parts for installation including braided steel brake hoses.

Group buy price, with minimum of 7 buyers will be $875 for dust boot kits and $785 for non dust booted kits.

Optional 2 piece rotor kits will be available for $225 with plain rotors or $450 with slotted & drilled rotors.

Does anyone know this numba13 character?

What happen to the GB?

did anybody buy or SEE a set of these big brakes??

I'm not sure man, but I know that those rotors are the exact same dimensions as the MazdaSpeed6 ones. It's not likely that the calipers would clear a 15" wheel. I highly doubt it would...

The MS6 calipers won't clear many 16" wheels, the only concrete evidence I've seen this far has been the 16x8 FD wheels.
