Did anything ever happen with this? cause my trans mounts have to be replaced, and these sound like they'd be nice to have.

Ok guys I have an update. We received a set of stock mounts and are already prototyping some solid urethane ones. We already completed the front and as we speak are doing the rear. I will be test fitting a set on a local V6 Mx-3 soon. If you are in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area of Texas please contact me soon. Once the test set is installed and tried out we will begin production. They should be available for purchase in less than 2 weeks. I will contact the admins about starting a buy shortly.

How would these be superior to urethane-filled stock mounts? I mean $100 is the difference in money, what does it get you?

looks like it gets you brand new mounts with no milage or wear on the metal or urethane/rubber.

This bolts straight in and is half the cost of the mazdaspeed mounts.

You could do it yourself but fabricating your own metal mounts to fit would probably cost you more.

I myself have filled my own mounts in the past and have learned that almost all polyurethanes you can buy to fill your mounts will wear and crack overtime and will also not 100% fully cure all the way through. These mounts are made with professional urethane and will not crack nor will they wear out. Also your stock mount housings cannot take high amounts of torque loads, really not much more torque over stock without bending. The materials we use are good for 500+ TQ and they will not bend. The welds are also stronger than stock.

It's half the cost of the MS mounts because it's HALF the number of mounts......

You think metal wears on engine mounts? No way unless they are broken.

If you do the filled mounts correctly with 80A urethane, they will cure correctly and never crack. You do it one bead at a time, not all at once. It's about $10 a tube at Autozone (3m Window Weld) You can also do the casting type pour in 2 stage urethane for about $40

So what grade hardness Polyurethane are these mounts?
How do they withstand 500 lb/ft of torque when there has never been a KL engine in history that has made that much (and even if they did, it wouldn't use anything less than solid mounts)?

Just wondering, not hating on these. They look really good but that's alot of dough for two mounts when you can usually buy energy suspension inserts for $35 for most cars.

All this is still a go. We have been really busy with the race season that is ahead so small projects have been put on the back burner but not forgotten.

I would defintely be interested in this too as I am going to buy the MS mounts mid next week but I would need them within the next few weeks. Any possibility of them being finished and tested by then.

I don't think it's too hard. You have to unbolt the engine mount member (that big plate the engine) and the crossmember (is that what that thing is called that extended to both sides under there with 2 bolts on each side?) then you can jsut pull the mount member off and unbolt the mounts above it (perfectly accessable) only takes a few minutes really.. but you do need to support the engine someow before you remove the mount member.... I just hook our hoist up and rais the motor 1/4 -1/2 inch... I've heard people do it with jacks, but thats sounds more than a little dangerous...
