Thats not entirely correct, it does aid mileage a bit. It recirculates exhaust, as in, "used" air that doesn't need extra fuel to read the same across the O2's. There are many more combined benefits too. This only happens during cruising conditions so don't worry about performance.

so i did some research and i found out that i more then likly have a clogged cat.
my car meets all the symptoms, lose of power, poor milliage and aa ratle in the exhaust.

gunna try cutting the car off sometime this week.
