NEED HELP NOW!!!! Car wont start after!!!!!

so i took the intake many off of my car to change with another, just tocome to realize it was different so i put the old one back on, made sure the vacuum routing was right but the car still wont start.

anyone have any idea whats wrong with my car and why it wont start?

Did you pressurize fuel system?

Hooked up fuel lines backwards.

how would i know if i hooked the lines up backwards

from the FPR goes to tank. high pressure (injector) side comes from fuel filter.


You pressurize by cranking. strange idea to pre-pressurize.

Could also be that you did not seat the mani properly and have a huge vac leak. I've seen the VAF go on backward if you are using a CIA. I've seen fuel lines get reversed. Loose throttle body and thus a vac leak. Missed or forgot the large vac tube on the back of the intake, or pinched it when reinstalling the mani. Could have cracked the vac tubes or chambers under the mani, causing a vac leak.
PS- why would you change manifolds?...

turned out to be the fuel lines on the wrong fuel injectors, the car is running now but it idiles really low like 300rmp and sometimes stalls. any reason for that?

and i was changin the manifold because i had cleans this other one out really good and i've been getting terrible fuel millage and my car has been running like s---, and im losing power. just doing anything to try and fix the problem.

if you know what my problem would be there feel free to surgest anything that could help

Did you clean the TB as well? Check that the butterfly is closing all the way. You should have 1 to 1.5 inchecs of slack on the cable. It seems like alot, but you'll not notice on the pedal and it gives the line some slack to expand and contract with temp changes.
Does the car studder at all when you raise the revs?
Do you have any type of starting fluid or brake parts cleaner? If so crank the car, while ideling spray a bit of brake cleaner around the mani seals. If the idle changes at all you have a little leak.

ya i cleaned all that out. but i was thinking maybe i have one of the vacuum lines pluged in to the wrong soliod valve or something, and it doesnt studder when i rev. do you know why i would be getting shitty milage like150km to 25L?

I couldn't say exactly, but you could easily have several issues effecting mileage.
Poor fuel filter, improperly inflated tires, bad dirty or stock injector/s, dirty air filter, old or aging spark plugs wires disty cap or rotor, old sticky or failing whel bearings. Just to name the most common.

well i just replace, the spark plug wire(ngk) plugs(ngk), cap and rotor, and a new fuel filter.

Also check the condition of the tires/ alignment and make sure that they are inflated properly, they make a huge difference to gas mileage. You started at the right place with plugs, wires, cap, rotor. Also check the air filter make sure its clean and if the oil has not been changed in a long time do that as well, clean oil makes for a better running engine and better mileage. 16.7L/100 km is pretty bad unless you are idling it a lot. For the US boys that works out to be 14.09 MPG.

i just recently did an oil change and filter, and i just put my winter tires on so they are all inflated the proper amount. i was reading an egr code and cleared it so it might be soomething to do with my egr valve
