my buddy has a ported box in his trunk. sounds nice. pounds. Mine has a nice clean low bass and pounds hard when i crank it up. Would like a different deck tho.

I install car audio for a living, neuman is right caps are not functional most of the time. Do some research on 'the big 3'. It is the best way to upgrade your electrical system & keep ground wires as short as possible.
You would get double the juice from your amp if you ran it @ a 2 ohm load (if you would've gotten a single 2 ohm sub or a dual 4 wired down to 2) .
Its a decent box! good job sound deadening, it is a way to get the most sound for your buck. I noticed a huge difference on my mx-3's after sound deadeding.
