OK so acording to the 95' online manual...
1. Warm the engine to operating temparature
2. Turn off all electrical loads
3. Jump TEN and GRD
4. Check idle speed, adjust if necessary
5. Check timing, adjust if necessary
6. Disconnect jumper
7. Timing should stay between 6-18ºBTDC
It does not say that you have to jump TEN and GRD with the engine turned off. I assume that means that you can jump it and remove the jumper with the engine running. So I'd say you're ok.
I would make sure that your TPS is set using the feeler gauge method before doing this.

Is the KLZE disti in any way different from a k8 disti?? Ore everything just @ 10 degrees?

Oke, but thats just on the disti?? I can normally hook up #1 to cilinder #1 etc?

yes. If you look inside the cap you'll see that the points inside are in the same order but the one "Nipple" on the outside of the cap has been relocated and you can see the path it follows as a ridge in the mold.
