I'm not saying to be deceptive. Tell them it's a 1.8. I'm not trying to sway you, except that I believe that would be the easiest, most profitable way to do it.
I wish I could help you more with the other stuff, but mine's all OBDI.

i could place it on sale, with some extra information about beeing a 1.8
And sell it by about the same price i am going to buy it , but alert the buyer of the swap :)

Take pictures of both engines while they're in the cars and again when you take them out. That way when your not sure where a vaccum hose goes or how to route your harness you can refer to the pics. Very helpful for sure. Do they sell digital cameras in Portugal yet or do you guys still use the ones with the black cloth over your head and the pan of gun powder for the flash? :)

Just 9 Megapixels? I think we're up to 56 here..
It's also a good idea to put little paint dots of as many different colors as you can on the connections of hoses, etc.. and where they connect to. For instance, your PCV hose could have a yellow, and blue dot on one side, and a red a green on the other, and the IM would have yellow, and blue, while the PCV itself would have red, and green. Just make sure they're all different. Do this before taking the pics, and mark them the same on both, but only the ones you know are the same. Then you'll know what is extra. It'll go easy that way.

I have a short straight neck. If the Probe comes with this, you can put in a 90 degree elbow that goes from 2.5 inches to 3, to which you connect your VAF, and then the rest of your CAI. I moved my battery, though, so it didn't bend so much, and now I have plenty of room for my catch can, and exterrnal coil, and turbo (some day  ).

after swapping engines, is it a good idea to talk to your insurance adjuster for claims? letting him you you swapped the engine out, for more value out of the car? would this be a good idea or do we just not tell them?

If your Insurance co finds out you've swapped in a more powerfull motor I'm positive they'll add a surcharge on to your insurance. Surcharges usually start at 15% and go up from there. I'd keep my mouth shut.

bahaha! I loved the way that was mixed in with the serious advice  ahh I'm such a dslr nerd...

Bad boys, all mods will be declared to insurance company with my ZE, turns out to be about 1/4 more expensive. They're sneaky buggers here too, they've been known to check on relevant forums for any mods in the event of an accident.
