The date is set, 21st & 22nd of May

I'm doing everything in my power to go.

It's a car filled weekend event; drive up Saturday Morning/Afternoon, go to the show, to go RXcetera's place for a BBQ, cruise the town at night, get up in the morning for the Sunday cruise until the afternoonm and drive home Sunday evening

so, after reading through the rx-7 site, i've found out that it's at ricardo's shop/lot, then there's a bbq at rxcetra's house in orleans. i found out where rxcetra's house is from his directions in the thread, but where's ricardo's shop? thanks.

RXcetra wrote this on page 11 of the rx-7 thread:
We go through this every year when I post up the date... and yet turnout is never a problem. May 8th is mother's day and people complained about that last year so that weekend is out. On May 14-15, Ricardo who is letting us use his shop/lot to hold the meet/bbq this year is out of town.

That leaves May 21-22. It's later in the month which many appreciate, it's a long weekend which is good thing in my book and I really dont think there's more cops patrolling back roads in Quebec on long weekends.
this is why i thought it was at ricardo's and there was nothing since then mentioning a new location. apparently it's in quebec somewhere based on people's comments about cops in quebec. i dunno.

It's close, RXcetera's place that we had the BBQ 2 years ago lives just across some river in which the other side was supposibely Quebec. Even the during the cruise i recognised some signs pointing to small Quebec cities I know of. Even the Corel center isn't far from Quebec border, and that's we're we are meeting

You can just see in the top of the map, it basically says Ontario/QUebec border

From the sounds of it, sounds like the K8 is going to get a workout that weekend.
Is anyone interested in meeting up from TO area to Ottawa?? It's early but I thought I'd ask

Don't worry, there should be a whole convoy of Mazda's from Niagara/Toronto that will cruise up to Ottawa together, with a stop off in Kingston

Glad you guys are showing interest. The meet is fairly large and yes there are meeting points and convoys to Ottawa.

There are meeting points in Sportsworld Kitchener, Fairview Mall Toronto, Canadian Tire Kingston and finally Corel Center in Ottawa.

Meet and greet starts at Corel Center at 2pm. Then to Ricardo's shop (new for this year) for a BBQ. Then a gathering at RXCetera's place. Some people chill there and some people go for a cruise to the local scene in the evening.

Day 2 consists of "cruising" through scenic roads.

Hope more of you can make it. If there is anybody from out west (Kitchener) pm me for details about meeting points in kitchener.
