HID

This forum is for discussion of topics relating to MX-3 lighting such as Headlights, Tail lights, Accessory Lights, Interior Lights, Etc. For example, Rear Euro Altezza Style Tail lights, Headlight units, LED's, HID's, Bulbs, Interior lights, Neons, Strobes, Auxillary Lights/Fogs or anything filament and gas discharge related.
Also anything dealing with the elctrical system.

unless you retrofit.
The hotspot is too regular, and there is no evidence of a puddle of water for the HID shot, unlike the halogen projector low shot. One theory is that it may be caused by the housing itself, since the bottom extends out more due to the design. Just need to find a way to block out that part or scatter the light so it does not create signifiant glare.

The MX-3 projectors definitely have hotspots. They look like little half circles over the cutoff.
