Kid, you're not prepared to do a KLZE swap. If you can't make insurance payments and start replacing parts before you even know whats wrong, you'll never manage it.

Want something fast? Go buy a 2.2 H22 VTEC Prelude.

Okay dude... haha you apparently have never heard of the problem i was having either and doesn't the check engine light have to be on when you plug the checker in?

Huh? Whats a "checker"?

The ignition must be in the "on" position, but not running. The CEL will be one at this point.

The CEL does not necessarily need to be on. There are things called "intermmittent codes" that are caused by an irratic problem. Say, you O2 sensor doesn't warm up in the given period, because its really cold out and you revved the hell out of it. CEL will come on for a bit, and go away when the O2 sends signal. The CEL will go off, but the ECM will store the code for a time anyway. Or if say, you have a loose connection that can be toggled by "flooring" it.

Just because the CEL is off, doesn't mean there are no codes to pull.

Dude.

Here's an reflective moment:

I joined this site when I was 16 too. I talked all 'know it all, high and mighty' too.

I quickly learned I was actually a moron and had no idea about anything.

Now I'm passing on the knowledge

you can stfu i know plently about doing work on cars so i dont kno jack about engine codes big whoop and the "checker" is that stupid thing that looks like an old game boy that you plug into your car and it tells you why your dummy lights are on.

and no where did i say "im high and mighty..." go look at my work log and look how it turned out for a 17 year old job.. thank you

ps.. i didnt ask for a Engine Light answer i hoped one of you had that happen before with an answer.. not something that a machine is going to answer for me
