hey Joey, when i bought my mx3 i noticed in my glovebox i had a extra part, i think its the one ur looking for. i can sell it to u.

found it! part # EA17 - Child Restraint System

brand new never used. still in bag, instuctions included.

i just checked with Mazda, they sell it for $58+tax ($65.54).
i'll sell u mine for $55cnd shipped.

i know this is an old post but apparently i had a link in my worklog and thought i would add to this.

i was looking for this baby seat hook because i have a daughter now and well one day when i was in the junkyard looking for parts off a ZX2, and while i was in the ZX2 taking apart the rear to get to the strut mounts i noticed there was baby seat hooks so i took them off and pocketed them out of curiosity to see if it would fit the mx3 because i remembered reading about how the one for the mx-3 is rare and has a special thread or something, and well.... it does fit!!!
i assume any 90's ford would have the same thread and style that you could use
This is what it looks like and bolts in a little metal piece just to the right of a spare tire wheel well that protrudes up.

There are generic hooks of course, the problem I found is the threads are some off size. I never found a bolt to fit them. Can you check the thread and bolts size specs?

This it? It has a part number on the back EA17. I'll trade it for Rockstar (2x original, and 2x cola plz).

i have 2 extra's, i can give you one free of charge, i only ask to use your hoist for an oil change.....and maybe a clutch XD

I have a bunch too.

I'm not sure how they work. The seat we have requires 2 to latch
