I talked to Ryan and he said he'll do a small qty run to get these started for MX3s. So even if the 5 original people don't all make it, we'll still get the bars

I'm just taking a day or 2 to go over everything. Did we get a final answer to any drawbacks in regards to cornering?

I haven't experienced any drawbacks, and to the best of my knowledge I can't see where they would cause any drawbacks. They don't restrict the up and down movement created in cornering.

If you do heavy autocrossing you might want to ask around in those circles and some opinions. The most cornering mine sees is spirited driving on the streets.

Is your MX3 a 4cyl or V6? If it's a 4cyl I need you to look on the passenger side LCA and see if the oil pan falls in front of the LCA mounting bolt the tbars use.

I tested these on my V6 MX3 with zero issues, but I was seeing if they would fit on a BP 323 the other day and the oil pan is an obstruction. If it's the same on the 4cyl mx3s I may have to limit these to V6 models only. I know the MX3 has a slighter wider track, so I'd need someone to look and see.

Drag is only something I do once in a while, I'm more into autocrossing, and eventually when things go right i'll get into some lapping days, and I've giving them a try, but I dont see a probem with them for cornering and suspension travel

For you guys with BPs (or any non V6 mx3 really), do me a favor and look under the car where the oil pan is near the passenger side control arm. Take some pics if necessary. I want to make sure the tbar brackets will clear the oil pan in the mx3 chassis. On the 323 chassis the bracket will hit the BP oil pan, but I know the MX3 has a tad wider track so I need someone to check and make sure everything will fit.

I managed to find a 4cyl MX3 at the junkyard today to see if tbars would fit. They will not fit the 4cl mx3. This style traction bars will only be for the V6 MX3.

There's been some interest from the 323/protege forums on some bars that will work around the oil pan. If that materializes I'll post info.
