Man this head gasket it full of knob moments.

I thought I had to torque my cam shaft cap bolts to 100 ft lbs. I broke a bolt, and realized it's 100 INCH POUNDS.

Also, Mr Electric Energy told me to torque my crank shaft pully bolt to 160 FOOT POUNDs...thanks, because I almost broke that bolt before i thought "I better double check this". 120ft lbs you knob.

Its the K8 engine that is factory in the V6, its swapped out for the kl-ze and kl-de all the time. That should clarify things for you.

As for me, I couldn;t figure out why in the hell my car refused to start. I took the electrical apart at least 10 times, checking every ground, every harness plug, EVERYTHING. I rebuild the distributor, cleaning every part, getting off all the crap inside and out. My disty looks new now. I redid the wiring for the 3 wire plug (since mine didn't have it) Yesterday, I was taking of the plug on my disty, to recheck to see if i rebuilt it right, and then I saw it!!! the little orange wire on the harness was broken right at the plug. I could never see it. I think its the one that controls the coil? Anyway, that is the whole reason I don't get spark. Lets just say I'm a knob for not checking the obvious

ok where to start

put a klze up to a auto tranny with 270k miles on it (fried it within minutes)
used a battery large for the car and shorted to positive battery terminal against my hood
drove car with lugs nuts not tightened
drove the car 25 miles before wondering why the back end was funky, sway bar was not attached
currently i have my car radio wired so it only works if the car lights are on
bought a new power steering pump and lost the little pin thing on the inside (still no power steering)
stripped a tie rod trying to hammer it off, turns out its pressed on
stripped my locking lug nuts, hell to remove, worst experience ever

someone beat that

I was trying to get a MX-3 off a car dolly. I had no E Brake, my 230lb. ham fisted son ripped it off so I blocked the front of the back wheels on the MX-3 and drove the dolly foreward. The car rolled off and down the dolly ramps and took off through my car port smashing into my NEW BBQ and jamming it between the shed and the car. No serious damage but I did feel kinda stupid for not blocking the wheels on both sides. Oh and the BBQ is a little bent but other than that works fine.

One more, don't wear a watch with a metal strap when your changing a starter with the battery still connected. I never realized just how painfull it is to try and remove a watch strap that's been cauterized to your arm.
