:? Is that an aftermarket antenna cuz my stock one is mounted on the beam that separates the front windshield from the driver's side window?

As far that condensation.... I know what that's like. Didn't do a very good job re-sealing mine for my project since on the first night of rain after they got installed, my tails were flooded, then condensed a few hours later, so I've taken them off and they're still waiting for me to get around to re-opening them and resealing them. Should've used black silicone sealant in my case.... the clear silicone made such an obvious line around the edges for me.

One end of the antenna cable unplugs from the back of the stereo head unit, then fishes across under the dash & up through the driver-side a-pillar to where the antenna base mount is located on the roof. Removing the roof base mounting piece allows the whole cable to be pulled out through the roof-mounted opening location. The ant. cable-end at the ant. base is not removable but integrated with the ant. base. (on mine at least)

I've got mine some 8 inches out. This way it doesn't look too long... Try it, I think it looks way cooler than all the way down!

Shaved. The stock one is ugly. I have an antenna inside the car mounted sort of "inside" the passenger dash. It works OK (prolly could have found a better location, but I didn't want to see it at all). I only listen to CD's though, so it really does just fine for my application.

I've since sealed that damn taillight up lol.

I don't have many pics of my car since I painted it, no decent side ones that yo ucan see it too well.

I shaved the stock location & installed this lancer antenna in the hole where the washer nozzle went. My nozzle never sprayed anything for crap anyways & it reduced the weight of the car a good 25 lbs removing all the motor/fluid/tank/hose/wires from the rear.

always in!!!
its cool on like rally cars and certain vehicles which may apply to it

but on any sleek sports car no antenna whatsoever!
