She runs now!! We tried adding another ground cable, and then WRAAAAOOOOMMM!! So, we bought some cable and some connectors and grounded the engine. Now she runs like a beast! :-)

My friend also managed to move the knock sensor the the correct side without removing the IM. :-)

We also checked the timing, and it's correct now.

Congratulations on the swap. Nice that she's running fine now.

How much did the the swap cost you? After I get new struts I'm looking into either a bodykit or possibly a KL-DE. It's all about the cost...

Engine, ECU and VAF 8000 SEK + 700 SEK shipping. Then I bought a new waterpump (600 SEK), timingbelt (150 SEK), engine oil (500 SEK), power steering fluid (250 SEK), front and rear oil seal (350 SEK), transmission oil (425 SEK).

Then I bought new belts for waterpump, P/S and generator (300 SEK). I also bought a U.O Racing Underdrive Crank Pulley ($200).

I'm gonna do a emission test next week. Since the EGR connector is broken, I run without EGR. Will that effect my emission result much? If my results are too high, will it help if I connect the EGR?

Now afterwards, it's much harder to replace the EGR. Next year I think I'll buy new headers, and I guess that will be a PITA to change when the engine is mounted in the engine bay.
