,at a show judges look for a car to be spotless, a daily driven car has atough time at a show because it has to take abuse from the streets all day and is rarley that clean. ..................owning a daily driven car is not about winning shows, its is about owning something special and nice that you have created, something for you to take pride in, if judges at shows dont get it, fawk em, who cares you didnt build it for them, you built it for you to enjoy . that is no reason for you to hate on those that build cars to win shows and do just that.

i could not have said it better myself, for those who enter to show off your car, go ahead, just dont ***** when you dont win, build your car becayse thats what you like, and about the nos, i would put nitrous oxide in my ride, but would not use it, my car is lookin pretty fine, but not at show condition in my mind yet, when you look at it that way of not using the nitrous, then why put a body kit on? why put rims on? why put a tv or huge system in your car?? everyone has their own reasons, some do it for show some do it for love of their ride
i personally think this post is retarded and should have been ended a long time ago and think jackattack pretty much said it perfect
peace

I couldn't be any clearer but some of you are just inventing stuff to cry about.
Think twice before misinterpreting what I say.
Jackattack...we covered all that stuff ages ago....it's the "type" of showcar and its "owner". Not ALL showcars. This is getting stale. I like your car...but if you have a showcar and you won't even bring it to shows because of rout planning..that's borderline paranoid.
[ August 10, 2003: Message edited by: Darren Hyderman ]

Jackattack.

I'll PM you for the details....and here's a good one. I couldn't figure out why you came off so hostile and then I remembered saying I was gonna use one of your posts in this thread. LOL I 'was' about to pay you a compliment. I was gonna add a reason why I didn't like showcars because you have one and therefor you weren't able to cruise with it or come out to as many show 'n' shines with the rest of us being you're a local and we need the turn out. I guess you thought I was gonna **** on it but you beat me here.
And no....no hard feelings....even though you did dis my car a bit.
