Need help regarding ebay fraud :S

Post by kuruption1983 »

i know this is not a proper place to ask this question, but i am sure someone else might have the same question.
herez the story, a year ago i wanted to buy a laptop and i checked on ebay and bid on a laptop(the seller had 4+ feedbacks on computer items) but i got outbid, but he contacted me several days later asking if i was interested and i said sure. so i sent a money order for the amount of 1100 CDN$ to him (moneygram that was) and i called him to see when the item would be shipped and he said it was shipped. a week after i called and his roommate said it was shipped too. another week later i called and no answer, just an answering machine (his ID was unregistered on ebay :( ) So a year after i am still in the dream of that laptop; But to mention i learned from this incident and i used to buy and sell laptops and cars for a living and to pay university tuition. But this one as my first experience always stayed with me and i'm still tryin to get the money back.
I have this person's phone number (out of service now), address, and even a copy of the money order, i put a request on FBI's site (havent heard anytin from em), but i want to know if theres anyway i can get my money back!! :D :D <p>PS: I swear if anyone helps me do this, i will give 25% of the money to him. no jokes. :D :D :D

1st thing is to contact your local law enforcement. Thats considered mail fraud and u need a police record for a basis of any case. IF you have his name/number thats perfect, more info the better, his local phone company will have his SSN, and the local law enforcement will be able to get him with no problem.
