New Saturn
Yeah, yeah, I know it's not an import but it has kinda got me interested.
There is a new Saturn Comming out called the Saturn Ion Red Line. It's a 2.0L with a Supercharger putting out approximately 200HP and 200 torque. Here are the estimated times.
2004 Ion Red Line
Time to Speed in seconds
0 - 40 km/h : 1.3
0 - 60 km/h : 2.8
0 - 80 km/h : 4.8
0 - 100 km/h : 6.4
0 - 120 km/h : 9.4
0 - 140 km/h : 12.1
0 - 160 km/h : 15.3
0 - 180 km/h : 21.3
0 - 400m : 14.6 sec @ 155 km/h
0 - 1000m : 26.7 sec @ 195 km/h
Top Speed : 241 km/h
What do you guys think?

Re: New Saturn
It looks like a saturn meeting into a neon with a new monte carlo hood, personally i dont like the look of the rear doors, same as the rx-8 and i personally think thats what takes away from both cars, personally dont like it but the speed for a saturn is very impresive, the best thing is probally the rims,

Re: New Saturn
not thinking there gonna be much performance support ie..swaps, etc. cause its GM product..from my body shop experience everyone hates saturns and working on their bodies.

Re: New Saturn
There is supposed to be a large range of body styles available from factory. The idea behind this car is that they want to make it completely customizable. I don't think I'll get one though... I'm still an import car guy so I'm thinking maybe a Mitsubishi Lancer Evo 8.

Re: New Saturn
i personally think its ugly as sin, no spoiler or rims could save that beast of a car, sure, saturn has a reputation for great customer service, but they still just dont have the product line to back that up, the stats look good on that car, but i would never buy one just because its so ugly.

hey mananamx3er i love ur footer thing man, i agree with him too
Re: New Saturn
buuahahaha, I saw Andy Rooney say that too, it was great. I got a chance to see one of those EVO 8's the other day in person. It was pretty impressive for factory. Pictures do it no credit. For a sports grocery getter, I liked it: fmic, corbeau race seats, carbon fiber spoiler, projector lights, not to mention turbocharged and AWD.

Re: New Saturn
I'm most likely going to save up for the Lancer Evo 8 rather than this. The Evo 8's 0-100km/h time of less than 5 secs sounds pretty sweet me.
