Sure is uglier too, *snicker*, j/k man, the perfect winter beater, you should see mine, 87 silver toyota corolla, man what a p.o.s. runs strong, but its carberated, and has carberatur icing problems so it hesitates sometimes.

ah, I see, I'm personally not the biggest fan of vw (bad experiences with owners being jerks) but here's one from my state that I hope to not run into at the track: http://www.sdsefi.com scroll down a bit and check out this beast. I think he's running the same sds system I bought.

You talk about hassles, VW's are notoriously unreliable, instead of having to check for scratches you will have to pray that you engine will turn over every time you go out to your car. My dad owned a '79 VW Rabbit and it was a fun car but it broke down all the time and things haven't changed much in 20 years, my ex girlfriend has a 2002 Jetta and about 1 out of 4 times it won't start and the VW mechanics can't figure out why so she just has to live with it. Also, check Consumer Reports, VWs have very low reliability ratings. <p>I'm not trying to be a jerk or bash VWs because they are fun cars, I just don't want you to buy something that is going to cause you more headaches than it is worth!
