Is this a good buy?????? Please Help

Post by ghandi1981 »

A buddy of mine that works for a honda dealership in the parts department bought a 1993 honda civic ex 2dr 1.6l with pretty much new everything....clutch, axels, belts, alt, water pump, sun roof, pw, pl, cylinders, pistons, oil pump, fenders, hood, bumber, radip, and paint job, also with some 16" new tires....if you dont already know i wrecked my family car(stratus) and my Mx-3 is still in need of a new motor (will get done in the next 2-4 weeks when tax money comes)..but i need a car for my wife and 2 kids so we dont have to depend on her parents to take us everywhere....he will sell it to me for $4500 and thats like $800 more than what i am going to get from insurance so i might buy it....what yall think??? is is a good deal??? pleaze dont hate on it cuz its a honda...im not gonna rice it out...dont have the time, money, or preference to do that....
thanks
aj
