favorite concept car
If you have a favorite concept car, post it here.
I'd have to say that mine is the 1986 Dodge/PPG-pacecar, the M4S Turbo Interceptor(ever see the movie "The Wraith"?). A mid engine rwd with a perfect 50/50 weight distribution, pushing 440hp/300ft-lbs out of a 2.2L 16-valve I-4 with twin Garret T-25's running at 23psi. Had a top speed of 194.8(observed) and an estimated 1/4mi time of 12.9 seconds @ 104 mph.

Re: favorite concept car
The Volkswagon and Porche look like spin-offs of the Toyota MRS. My favorite is late model Kitt (knightrider) I saw of a Firebird, and it had boat mode too!

Considering the fact that the concept pictured above was made in 1998.. and I don't think Toyota considered a v12 engine. In defense of the Porsche... I don't think Porsche pays its designers to make a car that looks like a toyota. If anything.. I have my money on toyota taking ideas from those cars.
[ August 06, 2002: Message edited by: SmokyMcGee ]
