odometer went from 155000 to 255000 in one day

what is going on with my car? this morning it was at 155000 km and I looked tonight and it was a 255000km and I only mabe put on 100km tops. I have had the car for three months and the odometer has worked fine all this time! why not tonight? did the previous owner role back the odometer and it finaly just went back. I don't know. please help!! All I know is my car has just decreased in value in one day! talk about not holding there value.. please help what do I do? thankyou!

That is really strange, I have had my mx-3 for like just over 3 years now and nothing ever strange has happened with the odometer.<P>I think your suspicions about a roled back odometer might be a good possibility because the odometer doesn't just decide to change figures like that out of the blue unless maybe it was tampered with.<P>Maybe go to a Mazda dealer and see what you can find out about it.

yea im agreeing its had to be tampered with definetly go to mazda and have them get your actual miledge hey this could work in your favor cause im not sure about canada but in the states thats a big offence so just think of all the mods
