removing water line from TB

Post by Domnknpimp »

I read on a post that removing the water line going through the TB will increase your power a bit. I wanted to know if this will have any negetive affects or anything will need to be adjusted, or if it was just a simple mod. Thanks

the water line goes in the throttle body..check around the TB it's not hard to find..you just bypass it...

I heard though you can have a rougher idle..i did it on my car and didn't notice one thing

I'm still new with this car, but not new to cars in general. If you remove the water line to your TB, its gonna make warm up times longer. As mentioned before you are fortunate that you live in FL so it may not be a problem but anyone else who may attempt this will regret it come winter time. Just thought I'd drop my 2 cents.

there are two water lines perallel to each other right below the TB. Pull them out get an adaptor connecnt both hoses together and thats all there is to that. and thats for the DOHC motor.
