might be 2 other reds in my small (15K) town... used to be a purple and a black as well... had the only one for about 4 years...
no mods to speak of, although I've told my son that as soon as he hones his skills on the airbrush, my mx-3 bod is his to perform on... he should be able to use it for his college graphics entrance portfolio

I see 10 or more a day... on average. Mostly girls driving around in 'em... nothing wrong with that. Just that they have no interest in mod'ing 'em up... at least in Coquitlam and th surrounding areas.
The reason why us Canadians don't do conversions is because our money is worth crap... we don't get paid enough, and our goverment is milking us with their high taxes... am I right?

Here, we considered mx3 to be a chick car..
but upon seeing a few at the mx3 meet here, I'm going to have to disagree.
I see about 3+ a day.
They are around, but not many people do anything to them.
About swaping lights, I can't think of a rear tail light that looks good.
I like the idea of spraying them all red.
92 rear taillights looks the same as a 95
so no point in swaping.
in my mr2 i swaped my rear taillights for a new set.
i don't know if that's possible for mx3

Conversion.. I don't know about others, but.. I think I'm old style, Hp doesn't go out of style, and I don't need to extra style my car. So, I stick with stock, sleeperz are great :) . Maybe if I wanna to shows, I'll change, but right now, my mind is fix on changing the engine.

I drive all over the US regularly (as part of my job), and it takes me a good 6 months to see 10 mx-3's like many of you are seeing in a day!

If I remember well, the number of the Mx-3 was more higher in Canada in the USA. We even sold the car an extra year compare to the USA.. Maybe that's one reason why there is more sighting of mx-3 in Canada region.
That little car is wanted by many in my region. My car is quote around 4000$, and I could sell it for 5000$ without too many problems. I could even wait and ask 5500$.
So, all in all, that car is popular, but not mod by many..
