Engine is DONE - have some ????

Post by pulse101 »

Well, the SOHC engine project is complete.. well, almost. there are a few connectors, bolts, etc. that are missing.
quesion #1 - does anyone know where this part goes?

question #2 -
does anyone have some engine close up photos of the SOHC? near the wiring harness on the right side would be the best. if no one does, i may just list some more pictures of my engine and go from there.
about the engine - it runs very well, throttle response is very good. i haven't had it out on the streets yet, i'll be back with more of an update soon. thanks for the help ahead of time.
[ April 06, 2003: Message edited by: jeremy ]

That would be a piece off your top tranny mount under your battery. I'm quite good at identifing the MX-3 4cyl parts.....I've only had mine apart and back together about 20 times...LITERALY!!! ;)

OK... i have relocated the battery to the back of the car, so is there any need to put this part back in the car?

As long as the tranny mount tightens up all the way I'd say scrap it!

weight reduction! (like 2lbs.) ;)
well ya gotta start some where, right??? lol
