FYI on Header.

Post by pulse101 »

The header for the 8 valve SOHC engine DOES NOT fit the 16 valve. Since the Festiva Motorsports guy is refusing to take it back, I am going to weld the flange from the original header on there, along with a little bit of some custom port work...
Just thought y'all would like to know.
As for my 1.6 rebuild project, I am nearly completed... I need to get the header ready, put on the coil overs, and I am still waiting on some stainless brake lines from cork sport....
I'll have pictures and results when everything is up and running...

finally! an answer on if festiva parts would fit the sohc b6 or not....good to know that it's an 8valve...i guess the cams and gears from the site won't work with our b6e.
