I'll be doing a tranny oil change and I'm not sure if it is really important to change the washer from the oil dump bolt.

Read the online manual about this also one of the links under Dave Coleman's signature. <BR>But you may be able to get away with not doing it. (I personally would change them) Besides if you replace them it is peace of mind that the tranny is sealed with no leaks from the bolts plus you would not have to do the job again if the washer decided to leak.
