snapped hose

i was changing hoses to yellow ones when i was doing the one thats goes right on top of the tb to some thing bolted to the firewall(92 sohc)well the part that went to the firewall was snapped off and now my idles idles at 1500 instead of 1000?can any1 find a name for that part i have a pic but i dont know how to post it.only hose on top
