MAF

Post by BigDaddy »

I know this might sound like a dumb question to anyone who knows what they're talking about, but i don't know of any ways i can put on a new air intake without messing up my MAF, i was told by three or four people(my dad being one) that i shouldn't move it and just not to get a new intake

if it messed it up, people wouldn't get them. i've been told that you want to try and keep it around the same spot which should not be a problem if you just get a cone filter. but moving it(prm intake)still shouldn't mess things up because there are quite a few people on this board with them. good luck.

No it shouldnt mess it up cause the MAF reads the air intake temp. and also switches on/off fuel pump, and volume of air. What I trying to figure out is how to install the cylinder MAF,even though the specs dont match, they can be changed.
