my idle seem kinda of low

what are ur guys idle at? mine is about 4000 to 5000 in park. is that a little low or what? if it is , how can i fix the problem? i heard of something that u can put in the gas tank whn filling up, what is that called, where can i get it. [img]shrug.gif"%20border="0[/img]

DUDE!!!!!..... 4000-5000!!!...... I think you mean 400-500RPM. Cheeck your belts, especially the one connected to your alternator. When you have a lot of things going at once (headlights, radio, wipers, rear defog, etc) it draws a lot of power. Check to make sure they're tight.

haha....yeah i mean that...lol! im not great with engines...as u can see... :D <BR>k, yeah i'll check the belts, is that maybe why they squeak in the morning? when its cold? [img]shrug.gif"%20border="0[/img]

Alright youve got the same engine as I do so it should be set at around 750RPM in neutral turn your ac and fan on high and see what your rpm jumps to it should automaticly set after awhile so let your car run for about 5 min and tell me what it sets at..<P>Daniel Jones<BR>94' MX-3 RS<BR>Blaze Red

k, i'll try that....and no i don't know how to set the idle?<BR>oh yeah and i checked the belts and they are fine....any other ideas? ;)

do u have aim itll be alot easier to tell you how to set the idle than to tell u in here...

I had the same problem with my 92' GS. Turns out the intake had a small hoe about the size of a pin prick [img]shrug.gif"%20border="0[/img]
