Why Spend $100+ On A Short Shifter:)

Post by posey92 »

Imageo why spend that money if you can weld or have a friend u could buy beer to weld..I had a friend simply cut an inch off the top above the final curve and add it belowe the pivot ball and this is what we got...it is amazing...I dont know what the original distance was but it is like less than 4" from 1st back to 2nd...nice and tight and amazing...I had a Megan Short Shifter in one of my previous cars..as well as a B&W...and this is way tighter and way more smooth:)....I have shifter I can get at the yard I could replicate for a price...I got mine as a favor...

I was going be buy this:

COSMO Racing Short Shifter Kit
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Racing-Short-sh ... 5b00e690d3

But I like the weld idea better... saves me about $40 of the $48.
